Barcode picking, packing and stock checking for Linnworks. Pickscan runs inside Linnworks as an App Store app, with scanner apps for Android, iPhone and iPad, a browser pack station and label printing through your own Linnworks templates.
What it does in Linnworks
- Picking. Pick single orders, or batch pick with batches Pickscan builds for you or with your Linnworks pick waves. Set the batch interval, the maximum items per batch and how orders are grouped, and choose which Linnworks open-orders view to pick from.
- Checks as you go. Already-processed orders can't be scanned again, unpaid orders raise an alert, and carton barcodes can be scanned.
- Labels and invoices. Print shipping labels and invoices with your Linnworks templates, through a Linnworks virtual printer or through Pickscan Print on Windows or Mac. Duplicate label prints can be blocked.
- Updates the order. Mark orders Processed when the label prints, move orders to a folder, print dispatch notes and add order notes as pickers work.
- Packing Station. A browser packing screen for a PC at the bench. It can be scan-only, can allow scrapping of returned items, and only opens from IP addresses you allow.
- Stock checks. Devices submit counts, and an admin confirms them with Set stock level in Linnworks to write the new levels back.
- Bin-rack checks on put-away, with an optional automatic stock increase.
- Fulfilment locations. Filter picking to one location.
- App users. Each picker has a name and PIN, so every action has an audit trail. Users can be made supervisors.
Where you can pick
- On Android, with the Pickscan app from Google Play, on phones and rugged scanners.
- On iPhone and iPad, with the Pickscan app from the App Store. Pair it by scanning the QR code in Pickscan inside Linnworks.
- At the Packing Station, in a browser on a packing PC.
- Printing goes through the Linnworks print agent or the Pickscan Print desktop app for Windows and Mac.
Pricing
Plans are monthly and billed by Linnworks through the Linnworks App Store, where you also upgrade. Phones, scanners and pack stations count towards the device limit; print stations don't.

How to install
- Click Install on Linnworks above and approve Pickscan in Linnworks. It opens inside Linnworks.
- Create an app user with a name and PIN.
- Download the Pickscan app on your Android or iOS device and pair it.
- Choose the default printer, shipping template and, if you want one, a stock location.
- Start picking.

Good to know
- Billing is only through Linnworks. There's no unlimited tier.
- Dispatch notes need an Invoice-type template.
