ANDROID APP v5.1.6

Sort your orders from the Orders screen

  • New A sort button on the Orders screen re-orders the list without leaving the page — oldest first to work the longest-waiting orders, newest first, or priority order. Your choice is remembered on the device.
IOS APP

Search your stock on the Stock tab

  • New Find any item without scanning it. Search the Stock tab by SKU, barcode or product name, then tap a result to open its details — handy when the label is missing, damaged or out of reach.
LINNWORKS APP

Printer and template lists always load on the Print settings page

  • Fixed The Default Virtual Printer and Default Shipping Template dropdowns could open empty, with nothing to choose, even when your Linnworks account had printers and templates set up. Both lists now load automatically whenever you open Print settings, so your options are always there to pick from.
  • Fixed Saving Print settings can no longer wipe your stored printer, template or location lists. If the page ever sends an empty list, your existing choices are kept rather than cleared — which previously could leave label printing unable to find a template.
LINNWORKS APP

Edit a user, and disabling works again

  • New Edit user — change a picker's name, PIN or supervisor status from the Users page. Previously the only way to correct a name was to disable the user and create a replacement.
  • Fixed Disabling a user on the Users page failed with an authentication error and left the user active. It now saves as expected.
  • Fixed Renaming a device had the same fault, and saves too.
PLATFORM APPS

Pack stations tell you when their device has been removed

  • Fixed Remove a pack station's device in Pickscan and that screen now returns to activation with a clear message, ready for a new device code. Until now it stayed signed in and looked ready to work, but quietly refused every scan.
  • Fixed When a scan is refused, the pack station shows the real reason instead of reporting the barcode as unrecognised.

Free barcode tools on the website

  • New Barcode generator — create and download print-ready barcodes in your browser, free, no sign-up. Everything renders locally; nothing you type leaves the page.
  • New A shareable barcode scan view that renders any code identically on every device — handy for testing scanners against a known-good barcode.

Buy shipping labels at the packing bench

  • New On Shopify, buy the shipping label the moment a pick verifies complete — straight from the pick-complete sheet, priced in your store's currency. Print label opens the PDF ready for your label printer.
  • New Orders that have just arrived are tagged NEW until someone opens them, so fresh work stands out on a busy bench.
  • Improved Order totals show your store's own currency everywhere — no more assumed £.
  • Fixed The Orders tab shows sync progress during first setup instead of a blank screen, and empty lists say so instead of showing nothing.

  • New Scan straight into the From/To location fields on transfer and move-stock forms.
  • Fixed The over-scan warning is back; viewing an item's details no longer releases your lock on the batch; Stock tab restored on the newest Android.
