Pickscan for BigCommerce.

Pickscan is a BigCommerce app for picking and packing orders by barcode. Every item is scanned and checked against the order before it is packed, so a wrong item or a short quantity is caught at the bench, not by your customer.

What it does in BigCommerce

• Picks your open orders. Orders that are Awaiting Fulfillment, Awaiting Shipment or Partially Shipped appear in the pick queue. An order is locked while someone is picking it.
• Checks every scan. A wrong SKU, too many or too few, or a missing item is flagged before the order is packed.
• Batch picking. Group orders and pick them in one walk of the floor.
• Updates the order. Picked orders are marked Completed in BigCommerce. The packing station can set an order to Shipped when it is packed, if you turn that on.
• Packing station. A full-screen bench page that opens in any browser on your network and verifies the whole order before it is sealed.
• Stock checks and an activity log of who scanned what, and when.

Pickscan does not create shipping labels or tracking on BigCommerce. Keep using your shipping app for those.

Where you can pick

• In the BigCommerce admin, in any browser, with a USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner that types like a keyboard.
• On Android, with the Pickscan app from Google Play. It runs on phones and on rugged handhelds with built-in scanners.
• On iPhone and iPad, with the Pickscan app from the App Store.

To pair a phone or tablet, install the app, open the Devices page in Pickscan inside BigCommerce and scan the QR code shown there.

Pricing

Every plan has every feature, with unlimited users and orders. Plans differ only in the number of scanning stations: phones, tablets or handheld scanners paired to your store. Picking in the browser doesn't count as a station, and works without a plan. Paired devices need a plan or the free trial.

Prices are in US dollars and billed monthly through your BigCommerce account. Each store gets one 30-day free trial.

How to install

• Open Pickscan on the BigCommerce App Marketplace and click Install.
• Approve the permissions in your BigCommerce admin. Pickscan opens under Apps.
• Start picking in the browser straight away, or pair a device from the Devices page.
